Our Commitment: Your privacy is our top priority. Cleanup is designed to process all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your photos, contacts, emails, or any personal information.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how As Apps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in relation to the Cleanup application ("App") available on the Apple App Store. By using our App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Cleanup is designed with privacy at its core. The following types of data are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to our servers:
- Photos and Videos: All photo analysis, duplicate detection, and cleanup operations happen locally on your device.
- Contacts: Contact scanning and duplicate detection is performed entirely on your iPhone.
- Emails: When you connect your Gmail account, email analysis happens locally. We never see, store, or have access to your email content.
- Files: Any file scanning or compression is done locally on your device.
3. Information We May Collect
We may collect limited, non-personal information to improve our App:
3.1 Analytics Data
We may use Apple's built-in analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as:
- App crashes and performance data
- General usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most)
- Device type and iOS version
This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
3.2 Purchase Information
When you subscribe to Cleanup Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Apple Services
Our App integrates with Apple services including:
- Photos Framework: To access and analyze your photo library (with your permission)
- Contacts Framework: To access and organize your contacts (with your permission)
- StoreKit: To process in-app purchases and subscriptions
Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4.2 Google Services (Optional)
If you choose to use the Email Cleaner feature:
- You will authenticate directly with Google using OAuth 2.0
- We only request read access to your Gmail messages
- Email analysis happens locally on your device
- We never store your Google credentials or email content
- You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings
5. Data Storage
All app data, including your preferences and scan results, is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup for your device, this data may be included in your iCloud backup, which is encrypted and managed by Apple.
6. Data Security
We take appropriate measures to protect the limited information we collect:
- All data processing happens locally on your device
- We use industry-standard security practices
- We do not store personal data on external servers
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
