1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AS Rock ID ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AS Rock ID uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash) to identify rocks, minerals, and gemstones from photographs. The App provides:

• AI-powered rock and mineral identification
• Estimated market valuations
• Chemical composition analysis
• AI Lab Analysis (Elite subscribers)
• 3D digital twin export (Elite subscribers)
• Rock collection management
• Market intelligence data
• Specimen comparison tools

3. AI Identification Disclaimer

Important: Rock identifications provided by AS Rock ID are AI-generated estimates and should not be relied upon as professional geological assessments. Results may be inaccurate.

• Identifications are for educational and hobbyist purposes only
• Market valuations are approximate estimates, not appraisals
• Chemical compositions are AI-generated approximations
• Lab Analysis results are simulated, not from physical laboratory testing
• Do not make financial decisions based solely on App valuations
• For professional assessments, consult a certified geologist

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Free Tier

Free users receive 3 daily scans with basic identification features.

4.2 Basic Plan ($4.99/week)

Unlimited scans with full identification and collection features.

4.3 Elite Plan ($49.99/year)

All Basic features plus AI Lab Analysis, market intelligence, 3D digital twin export, and specimen comparison. Includes a 7-day free trial.

4.4 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when purchasing a subscription

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos you capture and rock collection data you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your photos through Google Gemini AI for the sole purpose of rock identification.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App to misrepresent the value or authenticity of minerals
• Abuse the scanning system or attempt to circumvent scan limits
• Share or redistribute subscription access

7. Intellectual Property

AS Rock ID, its design, features, and content are owned by AS Apps Studio. The App uses the Manrope font family and SF Symbols under their respective licenses. Google Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC.

8. Limitation of Liability

AS Rock ID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AS Apps Studio shall not be liable for:

• Inaccurate rock identifications or market valuations
• Financial losses based on App-provided information
• Data loss from device failure or iCloud issues
• Service interruptions or AI processing errors

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete Account within the App. This action is irreversible and removes all locally stored data including your rock collection.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
