Auth Kit ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application Auth Kit (the "App").

Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike many apps, Auth Kit does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to external servers. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your TOTP codes, passwords, or passkeys
• Account usernames or service names you add to the app
• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes

Data Storage

Local Storage

All your sensitive data, including TOTP secrets, passwords, and passkeys, is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Keychain Services with 256-bit AES encryption. This data never leaves your device.

What This Means for You

• Your data is protected by your device's security (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode)
• If you delete the app, your stored data is permanently removed
• We cannot recover your data if you lose access to your device
• No one, including us, can access your stored credentials

App Store and Analytics

Apple App Store

When you download Auth Kit from the App Store, Apple may collect certain information in accordance with their privacy policy. This is outside our control and governed by Apple's terms.

Crash Reports

If you opt in through your device settings, anonymized crash reports may be sent to Apple to help us improve app stability. These reports do not contain any of your stored credentials or personal information.

In-App Purchases

Auth Kit offers premium features through in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple may share limited transaction information with us (such as purchase dates and subscription status) to provide you with premium features.

Third-Party Services

Auth Kit does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your data with any third parties.

AutoFill Functionality

When you enable AutoFill for passwords, your credentials are securely provided to the iOS AutoFill framework. This is a local system feature and does not transmit your data over the internet.

Data Export

Premium users can export their data for backup purposes. When you export:

• The export file is created locally on your device
• You control where the file is saved and shared
• We recommend encrypting exported files and storing them securely

Children's Privacy

Auth Kit is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) apply directly through your control of the app:

• Access: Your data is always accessible within the app
• Deletion: Delete any entry anytime, or uninstall the app to remove all data
• Portability: Export your data using the premium export feature
